Today Naim revealed its new Super Lumina range of high-quality interconnects and speaker cables, developed in parallel with Statement, its flagship amplification system.
The brief was simple: design a range of cables that would complement and allow the maximum performance of Statement as well as Naim 500 Series and Classic products. Starting with a blank page, Naim’s engineers specified each element of the cables based on the results of thousands of hours spent in the listening room testing prototypes.
To reach their goal required a deep understanding of material science and the influence of cable and connector construction on sound quality.
Super Lumina pre to power interconnects ship as standard with all Statement systems. The rest of the range is scheduled to enter production in February 2015 and will be available from all Naim specialist retailers.
The IOTA delivers a spectacular audio performance from an almost impossibly small cabinet. It is specifically intended for use very close to walls, or in locations such as bookshelves and desktops, where even a regular size compact/bookshelf design may be too large.
The Neat IOTA is now shipping following a hugely successful preview at the Manchester Sound and Vision Show in November and an equally successful launch at the Sound and Vision Show Bristol in February.
Munich High End Show 6 May 2010. Neat Acoustics announces their first new Ultimatum model in eight years. The Ultimatum XL6 will be available in September 2010.
The ULTIMATUM XL6 is a multi-chamber, multi-facet loudspeaker system incorporating six drive units per enclosure. The visible drive units are mounted on sub-baffles, attached to the main enclosure via a polyethylene damping membrane.
Neat Acoustics, Barnard Castle November 25, 2009. Neat Acoustics is pleased to announce the launch of the PETITE SX. The PETITE SX is the fourth generation of the PETITE — a loudspeaker that has been delivering a thoroughly insightful musical performance for 20 years. The PETITE will be available from December 2009.
In common with its larger ‘brother’ the ELITE SX — and unlike traditional bass reflex designs — the PETITE SX incorporates an innovative staggered port-tuning design. A 32mm diameter port on the rear of the cabinet has a narrow operating band centred on 40Hz. An additional 50mm diameter port, also mounted on the rear of the cabinet, is tuned higher over a wider operating band.
